This year for the 4th of July we did a 18-20 mile backpacking trip by Stanley ID, We went from Petit Lake to Toxaway Lake and back. We were going to do a loop but the pass was snowed in still. We had lots of fun, hope you enjoy the pictures.

Mandi and Mikal came to visit and we had a fun day going to City of Rocks.

Just wanted to share our exciting news. We bought a house. We moved in last weekend and I finally found the camera to send some pictures. We have 1.2 acres. The horses aren't ours but they are on our land, an agreement with the neighbors until we want to do something else back there. I have planted a garden, but all it has done is rain since so I hope my plants don't drown to death. Steve has built pantry shelves, so we have lots of storage. Steve has his "Man Cave", the separate 30 x 30 heated shop. We have a dart board set up and a ping pong table on its way. Future plans for that include punching bag, mini frig, surround sound, etc.... We have a huge deck, big enough for big barbecues if anyone is in the area, about 800 sq feet. We have more room than what we know what to do with. Any way we are so excited and want to show it off. So if you are in the area please stop by.

This is a video of my sister, Kara. She wrote this song about our family's yearly camping trip with our family at Cub River near Preston, Idaho.

Christmas at the McRaes

Merry Christmas. Steve, Jessica and I made spectacular graham cracker houses. We want anyone and everyone to please take a good look and vote on which one is the best. And to be fair we are not telling you who did each one, but you are welcome to guess who's is who's. We will post the winner after the votes are in.

Hi From Twin Falls

So I created this blog a long time ago and it has sat empty for months. So I am finally putting something in it. Here are some pictures from the canyon just below our apartment in Twin Falls.
